BERKELEY, NJ - They reappeared in movies after the coronavirus pandemic, and now they're coming to Berkeley. New York's Diller Scofidio & Renfro and the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) Museum of Art have completed the renovation of the old industrial site in Berkeley, California, and added sculptural metal tapes to their slideshow. Originally called the University Art Museum until 1963, the geometrically shaped building was renamed to reflect what was once home to Berkeley College of Arts and Sciences (BCA) in the late 19th century, when it opened as the first public art museum in North America.
